BAHAGAT SINGH A LEGEND
Bhagat Singh was an inspirational icon not only in his time but also in present, who laid down
his life for the sake of his country. If Mahatma Gandhi is known as the father of nation, Singh
was the architect of modern India. Born on the 28th of September 1907 and died 23rd march of
1931became a successful leader, a great freedom fighter and a very effective writer but an
atheist. Patriotism was in his blood that encouraged him to rose black flags against slavery. He
is real hero who helped millions of people to get freedom.
Foremost, he is well known as the one who provided a new direction to the Indians to get rid
off from the cruel ruling of British empire. His uncle and father also sacrificed their precious
lives in the support of freedom struggle. Singh played a crucial role in the in Indian Nationalist
Movement and very attracted towards socialism. Transformation of post-independence of
Indian society was the result of his inclination; he set a path for a political alternative which
others even did not think off. Accomplishment of his goals was outcome of the his clear vision
and dedication. True nationalists Jai Chand Vidyalankar and bhai Parmanand left great
impression on Bhagat’s mind. He burnt the cloths and school books sponsored by the
British government of that time. Tragedy of gave him a very painful scar on his heart. He got
national support when he rose his voice for equal rights of Indian and British prisoners. He had
to face some critics by his contemporaries and people even after his death . Indian national

Moreover, he had only aim to free India from the English rulers, when Simon commission
lead by Sir John Simon came to India in 1928 which opposed by grieving people because no
member from India was selected. On the track to he established “kirti” (the kisan
