Overview
The services of Deloitte include Audit and Enterprise Risk Services, Consulting, Financial Advisory, Consulting, Governance and Risk Management Services. The services, along with many others extend to private and government organizations, foreign countries, law firms, and Fortune500 companies. There are subsidiaries of Deloitte: Deloitte & Touche LLP, Deloitte Consulting LLP, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP, Deloitte Tax LLP and Deloitte China.
History
Deloitte has been in business for over 100 years. It all began in 1893 under the leadership of two independent sales accountants: Charles Haskins and Elijah Watt Sells. They continued to grow and established offices Chicago and London. In 1849, their stock began to plummet, so a third consultant, William Welch Deloitte, was hired to audit the company's finances. His analysis was so valuable that it led to the company's financial growth and stock in other independent accounting companies. Those partnerships resulted in the demand for a skilled individual who was skilled in business solutions. That partner became George A. Touche in 1898. Together they solved complex government spending issues and consolidate finances of other partners.

This number includes Deloitte firms in the United States and overseas (China, France, London, Brazil, etc.).
