EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Player's Café is not the usual café that you see around town, it will provide a unique learning and entertaining experience for youths through games. Player's Café will answer to the need for youths to have a space for their multi-player gaming need. There is an increasing demand to play console games and board games with more friends.
The youths who are price-sensitive will have access to the latest console games and board games that are entertaining and engaging and they will be able to have this all at a cost that they can afford. Player's Cafe's goal is to provide youths with a interactive, educational and social atmosphere for gaming entertainment under one roof.
This business plan is prepared to obtain equity financing of the amount of $60,000 from angel investors. The equity financing will supplement funding for start-up costs relating to preparation, equipment purchases, and to cover partial expenses in the first year of operations. The additional financing needed is secured of which $65,000 of personal savings from founder Tan Pei Wen and $100,000 in the form of long-term loan from DBS bank.
Player's Café will be incorporated as a private limited company. This means that shareholders will not be liable for the company's tax.
The financing amount of $225,000 will allow Player's café to operate and maintain operations for the first year. The initial start-up capital invested will be used to provide the target audiences with a full featured gaming centre and cafe.
