Commercial Comparation
Over the two hour period of watching television, I recorded all of the commercial messages which I exposed from 2 channels (Comedy and TV PG). Most of them are from advertisements, and some of them are from the actual television show itself.
Rank all of the commercial messages into three categories:
1. Products that I presently use.
• Fedex ( quick delivery service around the world)
• Sub (food, looks delicious, taste should be good)
• American Express (credit card)
• Home hardware ( hardware for home use)
• Play Station 2 in Walmart (machine for game playing)
• Milk ( forgot the brand, but I consume milk almost everyday)
• The weather network ( provide weather forecast)
2. Products that I am interested in but haven't tried or can't afford at the present time.
• Hairpiece ( hair replacement)
• Powerbar ( like chocolate bar)
• Eastlink ( network provider)
• Wendy’s Hamburger ( food, looks delicious)
• Devry University ( sounds like a good professional training School)
• College of Culinary Arts ( I am interested in learning cooking there, maybe in the future)
• Armywill ( Estate planning guide)
• Advil ( pain relief)
3. Products that I have no interest in or are unrelated to my consumer segment.
• Toronto Firm School ( professional firm training)
• GMI (Georgia Medical institution)
• Fastaccessdsl, bellsouth
