At my current job, the voice communication we used PBX phone lines connection with Avaya Internet Protocol 500 phone system. We have 2 T1 primary rate interface lines with 23 channels each. Our phone system has unique design, one primary interface rate lines is design for domestic calls. The second primary rate interface is design for long distance call and fall-over when the primary line 23 channels are all used, the secondary primary rate interface acts as a fall over. Most T1 primary rate interface lines bundle are design for domestic and long distance call together. Primary rate interface in fact contain 24 channels, 23 channels are used for individual calls for incoming and outgoing. The 1 channel is responsible of the data such as naming the incoming calls and providing number for incoming calls. Each primary rate interface channels function as individual line, it goes to sleep until end user access the line or incoming call are routed. The primary rate interface has unique ability to channelize and avoid crosstalk on each call on the line and deprivation of voice superiority. At no doubt, T1 primary rate interface provide superior quality of service on calls with this unique design.
Data communication for our company is full 2 T1 lines with the speed of 1.54Mbps throughput, with the download of speed 20 Mbps. and upload speed of 5 Mbps. We have a lease line with Optimum light path to handle our daily data transmission, and we used AT&T as our fail-safe when our primary data communication is down. The benefits of a Full TI Line communication offers a significant bandwidth in directions of communication and allow an especially higher bandwidth than most other processes of internet connection. TI are reputable to provide a very reliable 1.54 mbps of throughput in general.
