Deep Dream

The black screen: is it a dream? (the pages slowly started) deep slow voice: "this is heaven, what you want, you will get."

(old and with no trace of emotion voice): "I was once the most powerful Gypsywizard, I can help you achieve all your desires. (change the tone) but, you willpay a small price...... (get angry and excited) why, why you said I was the devil? I am your immortal deities...... (excited to be hardly worthy of belief) damn it, this is not possible! How do you have the seal of my power? No, no no.....

It’s a bright morning, sunlight is pouring in through the windows. Kate is waking up to the ring of an alarm clock. A brush goes back and forth on her teeth as she brushes facing the mirror. She whips her hair and ties it in a ponytail in the back. Kate has a sleepy expression on her face. A silver knife spreads purple jam over the golden surface of a slice of toast. Kate bites on the piece of toast. *crunch*. Kate stares at the wall while she finishes her toast. The top view of a cup full of tea, Kate stirs it with a spoon and the liquid goes swirling.

Kate’s phone which is sitting on the table rings with a call. *Ring ring* She taps the teaspoon and places it on the table, then picks up her phone.

“Hello?” She sips some of the tea from the cup detailed in exotic patterns.

“Hey, this is Mona, just called to say that Professor Kim canceled the class this morning. So you don’t need to show up to your 10 o clock class.”

“It’s great how he does that all the time.”

“He can do what he wants, I’m passing with flying colors.”

“Yeah, the exam on the Russian Revolution is tomorrow.” Kate says as she sits back in the chair and sips some more tea.

“Ah damn. I gotta study for that.” Mona sighs over the phone. “Enjoy your morning girl.”

“Thanks Mona. Go study your brains off.” Kate hangs up.

“Ay ay ay.” Kate says as she tosses the phone on the table and continues to drink tea.

Top, zooming out view of Kate sprawled on the floor with her mug’s content spilled nearby. She is absolutely motionless and is staring off into the wall. She is in a deep dream. Slowly panning out and fading.

Kate appears lying down in the middle of a white/gray abyss. (green screen)

Kate’s face is pulsing with a sub-skin glow, her veins and tissue become visible with each pulse. The glow becomes blue as a digital SFX of a computer coming online plays.

Kate opens her eyes. She sits up and looks around. “Hello?”

Ceiling lights turn on SFX. Suddenly a black hole sucks Kate out of the scene (CC Bulge negative flow).

The black whole spits her out in a brick hallway (CC Bulge neg/pos flow). She falls down onto the floor. Kate stands up and looks down the empty brick hallway.

Switching. The 2018 Hall

Adam Karl speak in excitement emotion to knock the table, the audience: "ladiesand gentlemen, be sleepy straws! The great Adam Karl will bring you a the mostmeaningful speech! Listen carefully, Adam will prove to you that my ability is better than the president's reason, I will lead this country to a hitherto unknownbrilliance!

Timmy Thompson (work madman, facial expression serious): "this month'sperformance did not meet my expectation, you do not know what is the pursuit of the goal...."

Switch the 2018 simple clutter in the studio

Jason Dickens faces the sketchpad, concentrate on painting. The ground strewn with unfinished works, he suddenly stop drawing, frowning, hand painting will bepulled down on the ground, collapsed on the sofa.

Kate keeps walking in the brick hall. She looks inside some empty rooms. There are lockers on the side, marked with changing code. She enters a lounging area which connects to the hall. Kate approaches a couch and sits down. There are stencil paintings on the wall behind her. On her left there are more code lockers.

Ambient boom moves camera further and further back in 3 fast movements, (slow zoom/pan out, cut 3 sections out). Kate sits alone on the sofa with a steam punk lamp silently glowing beside her.
