1. Murrell Denney, Joyce Buis, Rebecca McCollum, and Jewel Snyder are employees are the First State Bank of Eubank, Kentucky

2. First State Bank of Eubank is a member of the Kentucky Bankers Association

3. June 12th or 13th, 1963: three armed men entered the bank, and with a display of arms and threats robbed the bank of over $30,000

4. State Policemen Garret Godby, Johnny Simms, and Tilford Reppert apprehended the three suspects later in the day, placed them under arrest, and recovered the entire amount taken from the bank

5. Godby, Simms, and Reppert appeared as witness at the trial; the three suspects were convicted

6. Outstanding reward from the KBA for the three bank robbers was $1,500 - many became claimants for the reward and the KBA asked the circuit court to determine the merits of the various claims and to adjudge who was entitled to receive the reward or share in it; claimants: Murrell Denney, Joyce Buis, Rebecca McCollum, Jewel Snyder, Corbin Reynolds, Julia Reynolds, Alvie Reynolds, Gene Reynolds, Garret Godby, Johnny Simms, Tilford Reppert

Murrell Denney, Joyce Buis, Rebecca McCollum, and Jewel Snyder cannot claim a reward. The claims of Corbin Reynolds, Julia Reynolds, Alvie Reynolds, and Gene Reynolds fail. State Policemen Garret Godby and Johnny Simms cannot claim or share in the reward.
