Greetings!
This week, I have read a variety of newspapers, but there was one letter to the Editor that impacted me most. It was from a woman in N.J. who stated: (read article..) This woman was obviously stating that abortions shouldn’t be made illegal. Not only would women die from these unhygienic abortions they would turn to if abortions were banned; the women who are not ready to be mothers and make it through their whole pregnancy, would give birth and dump their babies in the garbage.
As we have been seeing in the news these past few weeks, children are being abused by their parents/step parents, and ultimately being killed. Despite all this, we still have people in the Supreme Court and the White House who are still fighting to make abortions illegal. If abortions were to be made illegal, the cases of child abuse/murder would triple or quadruple.
Instead of having commercials of make-up brand after make-up brand; stuff that only makes you feel good on the outside. The city should start promoting more birth control ads on television as well as hotlines that women can call
