Edward Scissorhands
I don't really have a favorite movie because there are so many that I like. They are all different and I like them all for their uniqueness. One of my very favorites is Edward Scissorhands. Tim Burton is a great director and I really like all of his films that I've seen. This is one of my very favorites. In it, Burton uses color in a number of different ways. He uses a lot of black and gray when showing the world that Edward comes from, one that is dark and very lifeless (in the fact that Edward isn't naturally born or alive and since his creator has died). Edward's world that he has known up to the point of the Avon lady's visit has been very cold and isolated from the rest of the world. When Edward ends up moving to town, he is welcomed into a world filled with all kinds of colors as the world down there is full of life. Not only does Burton use color to show setting and
