Rhythm
As I meditated on which element of music to choose from, I told myself that how can anyone enjoy any genre of music if it has no rhythm at all? Is that possible? Because of this I decided to go online and search the true meaning of rhythm and how it affects the sound of music. Rhythm isn’t just the pattern of beats that are repeated during a song. Feeling the rhythm, as many people say also means to understand how groups of notes are exclusively separated through a period of time in order to have a repetitive beat. Beats in a pattern of rhythm may be different. Some beats may be long and strong, while others short and soft, and the other way around. Rhythm in music is composed of notes that turn into a beat in time. In turn, these beats create a pattern of rhythm. These patterns of rhythm are constantly repeated throughout any type of music creating the process of repetition. Repetition is essential at any musical level, and of any kind.
