1. Abstract

Increasingly,new sports complex in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia ( UTM ) lately are making significant contributions towards the upgrade and redevelopment sports complex.This report is aimed to enhance and upgrade the sport complex in Universiti Technology(UTM) such as installing score board,improve lightning,renovate turf,increasing parking lot and bench stand .The upgrading and renovations to existing facilities is to improve the safety, functionality and so on. So UTM community will enjoy improved facilities The project will improve the reliability of facilities for local sports groups, as well as community members who use the facilities for leisure and looking to the future to ensure that the sporting facilities can compete with the best and provide facilities that the student deserves. The installation and upgrades is great community infrastructure to maintain the grounds and encourage healthy lifestyles within the community.

1.1 Abstrak

Kompleks sukan di Universiti Teknologi Malaysia ( UTM ) baru-baru ini membuat sumbangan besar ke arah menaik taraf dan pembangunan semula kompleks sukan.Ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan dan menaik taraf kompleks sukan di Universiti Teknologi (UTM) seperti memasang papan skor, memperbaiki pencahayaan, mengubahsuai permukaan lantai, meningkatkan keluasan dan memperbanyakkan tempat letak kereta dan  membina tempat duduk penonton  . Selain itu, penambahbaikan dan pengubahsuaian kemudahan yang sedia ada adalah untuk meningkatkan keselamatan, fungsi dan sebagainya. Jadi masyarakat UTM akan  menikmati kemudahan lebih baik Projek ini akan  meningkatkan  kemudahan untuk sukan tempatan, dan juga ahli-ahli masyarakat yang menggunakan kemudahan untuk riadah dan bersukan. Dengan adanya kemudahan ini pada masa hadapan dapat memastikan keselesaan dan keselamatan dalam bersukan.Selain itu, pemasangan dan  naik taraf infrastruktur komuniti yang besar untuk menggalakkan gaya hidup sihat dalam  masyarakat.

1. Overview Of Project

2.1 SCOPE  

This report provides background and preliminary  findings in support of a new, updated UTM Sport Complex. The update was desire to solve existing problems and deal with outdated facilities in order to upgrade the UTM Sport Complex. The scope of the final master plan is to:

1. Identify needs and existing conditions for the  various facilities within the complex, including:

- Futsal court (scoreboard,bentch stand,lightning and turf quality)

>install scoreboard – have a better display any score in any event.

> improve lightning – increase the light intensity during match at night.

> renovate turf – for player comfortable and reduce injury during match.

> bentch stand – provide enought seat to audiences.

-Netball court(scoreboard,brench stand,lightning and turf quality)

-Parking lots(space and lightning)

        > increase parking space – more parking lot when sport event held.

1. Improve the way of finding.

-People arriving who are not familiar with the complex have no way of finding resources to

 help them navigate the problematic circulation and parking.

1. Provide new and more quality equipment and environment of Sport Complex.

1. Help improve access, parking, circulation and way finding.

5. Direct a variety of public and private improvements to the area and shape the

          future growth of recreation facilities at the complex.

Many of the facilitieshave been constructed and/or maintained with the support of volunteersand private donation or build through public bonds and represent a significant community investment. This facilities help to improve the quality of athletes either student or staff.
