If I Knew…

“Every family has a story… Welcome to ours.” (Hubpages) .We all have different stories when it comes to our family, mine is probably one of the craziest. Family, can’t live with them, can’t live without them. I am not the type of person that says I love you to my family all the time because of so many reasons.

Growing up without my parents was hard, but I didn't really care because the people i was living with was my parents. The first time I met my parents was when I was thirteen years old. I grew up without them so that made me not want to be around them. My mother at least try to be there for me but my father doesn't even care. I personally don’t get along with my family, because we all have our differences and to me they aren’t the type of people I want to be around with. I can sit in my living room all day and not talk to any of them; they are so judgmental and deny everything. The man they claim is my father, he and I barely talk. I don’t get along with him even if I try.

I don’t ever want to talk to him, but my mother always forces me to because he is my father and we can’t live in the same house without talking to each other. My father doesn't help me financially even when I need him to. The problem between him and me is that we act just alike. He is very stubborn and answers people with one word all the time. I am just like that I think that bothers him. Everybody say we act a like even before I met him. He is very mean to me compared to my other two sisters. He don’t treat me like he treats them. I sometimes think he's jealous because growing up I had everything I wanted from his younger brother and I call his brother my real father. “But her blood flowed through me, whether I liked it or not.”(Senna 16). That’s like me and my father, no matter what I will always be his blood.  I can’t do anything about that he might not be how I expect him to be but we don’t choose our family.

The best approach to my family is to always have money and good news that includes them. It’s hard to approach my family when I want something. I believe that not every family is perfect, but the least my family can do is to appreciate and be there when they are needed. Yes family “fuck us up” my own family is the first example. They don’t care what I go through they just want me to be on top of my game. My family always say what they want to say whether I like it or not, and I always get told to never forget where I came from. They always say something to make me think twice about giving up I always get compared to how well my other cousins did at school and how they have their own houses and companies now. My family can see me go through the most but they wouldn’t even try to help they always say its life, they've all been there. Sometimes I tell them when I get where I want to be they won’t get anything from me because of the things they are doing to me now.
