Fire Fly Swot
Strengths
1. The Fire Fly is more efficient to protect the bicycle rider's life. Unlike the traditional bicycle rear tail light, the Fire Fly can show the whole person on the bike, which is more visible. In addition, the light pool beneath the riders created by the Fire Fly enables the traffic behind to judge the distance from the bicycle rider more accurately. When the Passive Infrared sensor detects the traffic approaching, Fire Fly will vary the intensity of light created by LED according to the proximity of the traffic, which is a more efficient warning to the traffic approaching the riders from back than a single red flash light.
2. The Fire Fly is more fashionable compared to the traditional bicycle rear tail light. By illuminating the rider's back and creating the light pool on the ground beneath the bicycle, Fire Fly can show the person on the road just like putting a human life on the stage. This will make the bicycle riders more fashionable, helping to establish and promote a cycling culture in the cities.
3. The Fire Fly is easy to be fixed to the bicycle as well as removal from the bicycle. Without any additional tools, the Fire Fly can be fixed quickly and easily to the bicycle through a universal seat post-mounting unit, which also can accommodate other peripherals for all bicycle types.

2. The Fire Fly lacks the comprehensive awareness of the clients. The Fire Fly, as a newfangled gadget, in itself does not have an image in the marketplace and acceptance from the clients. Clients probably have been used to the traditional bicycle rear tail light that has established the trust from the clients as well as doubt the quality and effectiveness of the Fire Fly.
3 The Fire Fly probably is limited because of some client's dislike to the additional safety apparels. To be specific, the Fire Fly needs to be used with the additional safety apparels. If the clients dislike the unfashionable safety vests or apparels, certainly they would not use the Fire Fly as their rear tail light of bicycle.
