If that United States Marine Infantryman does not have proper Marine Corps issued gear accountability over himself, then he probably didn’t check the United States Marines Infantryman around him either.
The United States Marine Infantryman needs to have liability and proper gear accountability for his Marine Corps issued gear. If a problem happens repeatedly with that United States Marine Infantryman not having proper Marine Corps issued gear accountability then that United States Marine Infantryman needs to remediate. The United States Marine Infantryman that doesn’t have proper Marine Corps issued gear accountability is more likely not to be able to follow simpler orders assigned to him in combat on the battlefield and out of combat also. Situations like this mishap can be prevented if United States Marines keep constant proper Marine Corps issued gear accountability.
