Genesis

It seems that the first passage 1:1-2:4a is about the creation of Earth and the Heavens in seven days. And it appears that the second passage 2:2b-24 describes the creation of Adam and Eve.

In comparison of the two passages they both talk about rest. Life always begins with rest. In 2:21 he put a deep sleep upon the man, rest, to begin with the creation of Adam’s helper, Eve. And after the six days in which God accomplishes all His labors on the seventh day His work is done and He rests. There is also the same in both passages of Earth which is a living thing and brings living things. They both tell of the creation of some type of thing, life that pleased God. In the first passage there was the creation of the Earth and the Heavens. Then in the second passage there is the creation of Adam, the Garden of Eden, the naming of all the creatures and the making of Eve. It appears that both tell of the swarms of living creatures. The creatures described are the birds, sea monsters, living creatures, creeping things that creep, cattle and wild beasts. Man is not only man but also woman. There is also the point that human kind is a creature and their reason of existence is to care for the created order, animals.
