My life has been amazing so far. Through all the ups and downs, smiles and frowns I wouldn't trade it for any other life. I did it all by holding true to my beliefs and my philosophies. No one described my way of thinking better than the man himself, Kanye West. In the song “Last Call” off of his debut album The College Dropout he spits, “Now I could let these dream killers kill my self- esteem or use my arrogance as the steam to power my dreams.”(West, 2003) Now anybody thats knows me , really, would tell you thats exactly how I think. Some people might say that I come off as arrogant but its not that at all. Its just that i don't let people assign me a life. Through my life I've always heard, “ O he can't, o he wont”and every time i heard it, more pressure was applied on me to succeed. Now, some people would use that as an excuse to give up. Instead, I chose Kanye's second resolution, that way if nobody else believed in me, I would. People think that by talking to me they instantly have the key to the man known as Antonio Spivey. So if i don't excel I' ve just became a stereotype. So, I used my traits to make my dreams that much closer for me to grasp.
