Happiness
Everyone deisres to achieve happiness, but the causes of happiness differs greatly for every individual.This
explains why everyone is diverse in their approach of finding happiness. Some may attempt to become famous in order
to find true contentment. Others may find delight in gaining of fortune. Unlike others, I find a pleasure in
comfort, excitement and love.
Personally, a sense of comfort has also provided me with security and satisfaction. Normally, it is not such
a difficult thing to achieve with availabilty of time and money. Also, even the most mundane acitivities such as
snuggling in bed, or conversing with a close friend adds to feeling of comfort. To most of my peers, these factors
are given to begin with so they have difficulty finding satisfaction from it all. On the contrary, I must work to
keep my comfort. None of these "mundane" things were given in my cards to deal with. Although I used to grumble at
my circumstances, I have learn to find gratitude in the smallest things that are put in my path.
Next, as a young adult, yet to soak in all this life has to offer, I love to feel the thrills of this world.
Unlike comfort, excitement offers whole new different happiness in my life. It motivates me to always keep myself
available for new learnings, new idealogy, and new findings. Searching for excitement has led me to seek my identity
and has brought me to where I am today. Ways of searching for excitement differs constantly, but I often find it in
venturing out to the "unknown" land. Even taking a quick travel to a near by state opens my eyes to see more than
what is offered before me. Having been raised in Korea, I was exposed to many different cultures and it really
brought great realizaton of human nature. Eventually, searching for excitement opened channels of finding my true
self and brought much happiness and security in my life. I have never stayed with one strict principle or stuck by
typical standards of this society. In doing so, it not only kept me in search of excitement but also kept my
understanding of life open to many things.
Over the years, traveling delivered many unforgettable memories and brought great joy in my life but on the
other hand, I witnessed the suffering side of the world as well. So many of us lack the most
