House Feline Vs. Wild Feline
Observation Summary
The personality difference between three diverse cats around humans. Cat number one, Pretzel, is always with humans, cat number two, Squirrel-Monkey, had been born into a human environment but was put outside at age one. Then cat number three, Oreo, was born in the wild and rescued from starvation at estimated age one.
Observation Analysis
On day one I spent the day with pretzel determining how he acted around me. Pretzel is a ten month old Tabby cat, who has always been inside a house with people since birth. He responded immediately when I called him to come to me. When I walked to the other room and sat on a couch he followed and jumped on my lap and began purring(cat's low murmuring noise) and rubbing on me. Pretzel like to play with strings and feathers, or he came to me with a puff ball in his mouth that he would want me to throw to play fetch. I found that pretzel had a very responsive, loving, and playful personality towards humans.
Next day two, I observed Squirrel-Monkeys way of behaving with me. Squirrel-Monkeys, a six year old black cat, who was once inside a home surrounded with people till put outside for five years. When I would call for Squirrel-Monkeys he would come half of the time. When he came around he would rub and purr on me to show that he was comfortable around me.
