Case in brief: Second Life is a 3d virtual online world but it is not a game. The world is built and owned by users and there are free, paid, and premium membership exist. This has no stopped businesses, universities, and even governments from jumping into the fray to see what virtual world has to offer. Second Life's important clients are Crayon, CNN, BBC, IBM, Toyota, Stockholm school of economics etc. From a popularity standpoint, Second Life is far behind social networks such as MySpace, Facebook, and YouTube.

Q.1: How can Second Life provide value to businesses that use it?
