Article 25
In article 25 it says, everyone has the right to food, clothing shelter and medical care.
The Syrian government is violating this article and many others but this is the one I researched on. After the sarin gas attacks, just outside Damascus on August 21, the food being grown there became no longer edible. This was a major concern because the cities were running out of safe food.(Abrahams)
In the year 2013 on September 13, the United Nations mission was to investigate all charges of the neglect of the Syrian people and the over usage of chemical weapons. At the end of the mission the United Nations found that there was evidence of exposure to the rockets filled with harsh chemicals. A huge portion of the rocket survivors that were looked at had projectile wounds and were ill because of the poisonous chemicals. Syria has the one of largest amount of illegal chemical and biological weaponry, which gave the United Nations another lead. Later they found clear and convincing evidence that surface-to-surface rockets containing the nerve agent, sarin a lethal poison that deteriorates the nervous system. This information gave the United Nations more evidence to investigate and find a missile at Zamalka-Ein Tarma pointing 285 degrees northwest right at Syria.
To help the hungry and ill people the world leaders try to decide how to control the amount of chemical weapons in Syria, also the leaders tell syria that there should be aid sent for the ones who were affected
