What does a person get when they are tired or needs to concentrate? The
person goes to the store on the corner to get an energy drink. Energy drinks are like
sodas but with a more powerful “kick” to it which makes it is an excellent substitute for
coffee for all the people who dislike coffee. There are minor effects that an energy drink
has that people need to be aware of. But for the most part, energy drinks are harmless
unless misused.
Before energy drinks if a person asked for energy people would look at that
person weird because there was no such thing as an energy drink. The only liquid form
of energy people had that would keep a person awake was coffee unless the person had a
homemade formula. According to factexpert.com, Energy drinks first originated from
over seas in Europe and Asia twenty years ago, and just a couple years ago, they became
popular in the United States. Now any person ,ranging from a little kid to a grown adult,
can find a number of energy drinks all around the world in every store. Not only is it in
every store, every type of bottling company from Budweiser to Coca-Cola produces their
own brand of energy drink.

the amount of sodium, caffeine, and other diuretic with in the drink dehydrate the person,
and the person need to stay hydrated according to Karam-Hage. Clark said, a banana is a
