Clay in LA

FINAL REFLECTION
Clay in LA is about the history of clay in LA. Also teaching us some remarkable artist like Ralph Bacerra who had influenced many student that he had taught before. It was really important for teachers can influence their students to find their own way to reach the goal. We have to set our goal from a person that you are admirable. We should try to our best to get the same level as your admirable person. Even though would not be the exactly same position and same field but we can do the same position in different field. We would not go through the same process but we have to do our best to make it better. This was Joan said today in the class. It is true that we should make a person to become who do you want to be but we should not just dreaming and do nothing and wait to be a successful person.
Same time we also learn about building a network. It is really important. Like in our class we have many different major students, digital media, toy design, product design, fashion design, and architecture. We have good connection in the class to make our future connection better. Our field all connected which does mean we can help each other. Maybe we can do something together which it is not in our field at all. Like our class project is about our remarkable ceramics artist, Ralph Bacerra. They are writing, picture, music and video groups. We have 4 different groups to make this film happens. It is really interesting that I would learn something about making a documentary film. Even though it is a simple film, but for the beginner it was really meaningful for us to learn this skills. And I also have a different portfolio not only my architectures.
