King Arhur
Arthur was said to be the son of Uther Pendragon and Igraine. There have been debates over King Arthur’s actual existence. Some historians insist that he indeed existed and others merely dismiss his existence as myth. Historians that support King Arthur’s existence have finally found something to support their theory due to the fact that King Arthur’s actual burial site was found but historians have yet to prove the actual existence of King Arthur’s “Round Table”. On the contrary historians that believe Arthur and the Round Table were merely myth support their hypothesis by providing factual evidence that the assumed “King Arthur” was never mentioned until 700 years after his death and was not king but a great warrior. Some historians continue to dismiss Arthur’s existence because the only historical clue of importance is of no use since it provides factual evidence of the Battle of Llongborth but cannot lead to the actual site of the battle preventing historians from exploring the area.
