Rahmat Ismail a Senior Manager of BTU , he is concerning Bukaka’s Technical partner : Jetway.

Bukaka is engineering company and doesn’t have experience to manage the new technology for bridge from terminal to the aircraft.

BTU is a part of conglomeration of Kalla Family (now one of the Kalla Family is Indonesia vice Precident).

Cengkareng Project

1985 BTU was involved in building the Cengkareng International Airport.

Rahmat Ismail as a GM of Bukaka was involved in Terminal 1, Bukaka was deliver special vehicles and equipment such as airfighting, ladde tructs, oil and gas, water jet cleaners.

Delegation to Japan

April 29, 1986 , Rahmat visit to Japan, and get opportunity to supply passenger Boarding bridge from Mudiardo (as Minster of Public Works).

ShinMaywa Industries, Ltd., as one of potential supplier / partner.

Passenger Boarting Bridge

Is a extendable mechanical bridge that connects the airport terminal and an aircraft access door.

For develeop this need some standard, such as safety and aviation standards.

And this new opportunity for Bukaka to developt it in Terminal II.
