Mark Zuckerberg Case Study
Mark Zuckerberg, a computer engineer, is well-known for the invention of the social network called Facebook. He began programming when he was a young youth. He created many communication tools as well as games, which he enjoyed. He programmed and developed many computer application systems suck as Synapse, which is a music player which AOL and Microsoft attempted to purchase. He wanted to make his dreams turn into reality, which has led him to success. Zuckerberg always knew that he would make an impact on society. He uses many different leadership styles in order for his company to improve and expand.
Social perceptiveness and behavioural flexibility were two of the aspects of social judgement skills which Zuckerberg used. His problem-solving skills required these factors in order to be able to respond to the general public. Instead of having two different applications, he created one powerful website which had the ability to connect with other people from across the globe, as well as be able to instant message with them. It’s a social way to network and
interact with people. It’s a combination of email, chat, instant message, photo gallery, video sharing, gaming, blogging, journaling and life history, all rolled into one. Facebook allows people from around the world to communicate with each other all on one website. Social media websites are made to develop and create new friendships with others. However, this is ironic because he began blogging about his ex-girlfriend and bashing hate on her in order to get himself known. This shows poor leadership skills from Zuckerberg because it defeats the purpose of his intentions. However, he believes in his product and its potential. This was the reason why many of his fellow students at Harvard
