After completing the simulation relating to Joe Burkhart and his new position in the denim company I found out many important factors that reflect revenue spent on advertising and how those are compared to other companies. In this memo I would like to express the decisions that were on behalf of Joe that will not only reflect great merit on behalf of his hard work, but will also allow the company to succeed and make more money that was initially forecasted.
The goal for the department was to have a growth of 5% percent increase in revenue each year during a period of four quarters. On his research, Joe comes to the conclusion that the forecasted units for the upcoming four years will be of 6,9,13,20. These units are presented in millions and will give the company the yearly increase desired.
This research allowed Joe and the company to see and use time series analysis that helped detect patterns of change in statistical information over regular intervals of time. At the same time,
