ASSIGNMENTS

o Regional Paper

Select a region approved by your instructor (select a region other than the region selected by your team). Prepare a 1,050-1,750-word paper in which you analyze the role of regional integration in promoting global business. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of regional integration (NAFTA, EU, APEC, ASEAN, CAFTA, etc.) within your selected region. Compare and contrast the economic development stages of countries within your chosen region and the ramifications of your region's economic development for global business. Cite at least two sources of information.

A region is a geographic unit larger than a country. Your paper should not be about a single country.

These assignments are due in Week Two.

Learning Team Meeting Two Assignments

o Review the objectives from Week Two, and discuss additional insights and questions that may have arisen.

o Risk Analysis Paper

? Prepare a 1,400-2,100-word paper in which you conduct a business risk analysis for your selected product or service. Analyze risks according to the specific method explained by your instructor in workshop two. (Use the outline and format shown in class).

? Describe how you would manage these risks. Include a SWOTT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and trends) analysis.

Citations and references are required.
