Michael was the fourth of five children; he has two older brothers an older and a younger sister. Jordan’s parents lived in Brooklyn for a year and a half, and they later moved to Wilmington, North Carolina. Jordan is known for being cut his sophomore year from his high school varsity basketball team. The University of Northern Carolina at Chapel Hill where he helped them win their NCAA Division I Championship scouted Jordan, and then he was drafted to the Chicago Bulls where he helped them win six NBA Championships.
