Michelangelo

During the early 1500's Michelangelo started his painting on the Vatican in Rome and later was able to escape to do sculpturing for a couple of years because of the War in France. During his escape he followed his dream and that was to continue his work of sculpting because he didn't consider himself to be a painter, but rather a sculpture'. Obviously, this was his passion and he was very reluctant to continue with his works on the Sistine Chapel. A few years later, he was called back to Rome to continue on his arts but he was very reluctant to do so. Essentially Michelangelo was obligated and forced into signing a four-year contract with the Catholic Church. He was wanted by the pope at the time and really had no-choice but to take the offer!
