As you all can see, this shoe is a totally new look for anything Nike has came out with in the past. Nike has always been viewed as an “athletic sporty” type of company, and it is definitely time to change this if we want to still see Nike in business in the near future.

Studies show that Nike’s sales for women aged 15-30 are steadily decreasing. This is a HUGE portion of sales that we are missing out on. Women have always been bigger spenders than men when it comes to clothing and accessories, which is the exact reason why it is ridiculous to not make women our main sales target.

Studies have shown that shoe sales, are overwhelmingly higher when you compare women to men. Women spent and average of $5.4 billion on shoes last year while men spent only a measly $5.1 billion. As we sit here and watch the sales of men’s shoes slowly deflate, women are out there commanding more buying power, spending more money on clothing and accessories than ever before and OBVIOUSLEY buying tons of shoes from everywhere BUT Nike, it seems. The fact that we are not taking advantage of this perfect opportunity is UNBELIEVEABLE!

This is a new age and time, women are out there looking for new opportunities and taking charge, what better way to give them a feeling of empowerment and control then to give Nike a whole new fresh outlook on how we view women’s clothing. Not only will we have the latest trends and newest styles out there, but this will also show women that Nike knows what its like to live in what is viewed as “a mans world”.
