Obama keen to boost ties with Bangladesh

Summary:

US President Barack Obama is keen to work with Bangladesh in order to strengthen bilateral relations and achieve common goals. The new Ambassador of Bangladesh to the USA, Mohammad Ziauddin, presented his credentials to Obama and said that the USA had been a trusted and reliable partner in the development process of Bangladesh. He added that Bangladesh is very grateful to Obama for its inclusion in all four of his Global Initiatives. Mr. Ziauddin also mentioned the appreciation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to fight against terrorism and all forms of extremism in the country. US President assured that the new assigned Ambassador would get all support during his tenure in the US.

Analysis:

US President Obama welcomed the new Ambassador of Bangladesh in the Oval Office of the White House.  During the ceremony, the new Ambassador, Mohammad Ziauddin, did not forget to mention that USA had been a time-tested, trusted and reliable partner in the development process and progress of Bangladesh for so long. Bangladesh is very grateful to President Obama for the inclusion in all four of his Global Initiatives--feed the future, climate change, health, and engagement with the Muslim world.
