Office Romances
Office Romances can work out in many different ways. They can turn out positive an example could be that you find somebody that makes you look forward to go into work. A negative could be that it turns out to be a fling and you guys break up. It might just get nasty.
When you go to work everyday you always dread going to work. You would love the opportunity to find something exciting. Something to make your day interesting, or go by faster. Young professionals often spend more time at the workplace than at home. Also, there are a lot of single men and women who don't have the time to meet new people. Naturally, they seek their potential partners within their surrounding environment which is the workplace or office. Single people feel that work is a great place to meet new people. After all, you spend at least 40-60 hours a week there, with individuals of similar backgrounds and interests. Relationships with co-workers can be especially tempting because hard work doesn't leave much time for socializing and finding someone out of work.
One of the positive aspects is time efficiency, since you no longer need to search for a significant when it so close by. Why look around for potential dates when you have an office full of beautiful women and Gorgeous Men? You end up saving both time and money. A second advantage to dating someone in the workplace is that since you spend so many hours together at work, you already have an idea of what she's like. This can save you from lots of headaches down the road. You always wonder what a person is going to be like when you first go out with a person. This avoids all that weird stuff.
A final advantage, besides the sex, is that you can carpool. Not only do you get to spend the lot of time together, you also save on gas. Which the way gas prices are going up lately it’s a really great idea.
Office romances also have their downsides. For example, no matter how well the relationship is going, the situation itself is always headed for disaster. The fact that couples are in constant contact with one another day in and night out may cause friction within the relationship. Everyone needs "time alone" to pursue hobbies or hang out with friends out of work, and the lack of being able to do those things may cause relationships to self-destruct. Other
