Our Character
Throughout as for the process, we first had to figure out the stance and the position of our character that would best represents the character and what props and colours we would need to make this character know. Once we had it all planned out we decided to divide up the tasks in order to make it easier to complete the project. We used as to represent the model, because she was the member of our group that had the most similarities of the actual character, while we taped and Along with helped to assemble the whole figure towards the end. Once we had all the final decisions made, we started to create the actual character out of tape, using different parts of Ashely's body, in order to represent the whole model. We stared taping her arms first, and then worked out way down to the rest of the body. We used the technique of wrapping the tape around the part needed with the sticky side out and building up until it thick enough and very carefully cutting the off, without hurting the structure of the tape or the person. Once all our pieces were cut out, we slowly put them together fixing, adding more tape to repair, and assembling the cut piece into a final life size sculpture model.
