Paradise
Abstract
Nic soon realized that Paradise was not at all what one would conjure up when hearing the name. Nik soon realized how wrong his perceptions were of this new job and trip. His first instinct was to run and never look back. Paradise was in trouble, Nic had been tasked to assist the Kava people. The decision to take on this task was not an easy one; however, after a lot of critical thinking and brain storming, the team agreed to take on the challenge all agreed that the decision technique to use was impact analysis.

There were so many things to absorb within the surroundings and Nik soon realized he had a tough job ahead of him. Alex was gracious enough to fill Nik in as to what the obstacles were that each was about to face and it was soon quite obvious that they had a lot of planning to do.
The mission of the company has always been customer first and the goal of the company is to serve the public, which in turn means earning the public’s trust and support. In order to do this the creed is to embrace the following core values in our daily work: integrity, service, quality and teamwork.
Nik soon realized that he and Alex faced several obstacles and the first plan of action was to see what their options were and to find experts to assist them in becoming proactive and finding first of all the causes of all of the disasters. At first glance, it was obvious that there were many natural disaster incidents that the people of Kava had to deal with on a daily basis; such as volcanoes, earthquakes, disease, fires as well as many other disasters too many to absorb at once. Also, poverty was prevalent, the good news was that several resources were there for the asking and the first thing that had to be done was to go and talk to all of our outside resources.
Chris who is the owner of the company believes that one can not keep taking more from Kava, the need to give back is strong and since our company has a proven track record and believes in the highest standards of lawful and ethical conduct, that was one of our tasks. Having said that and because the company’s reputation for truth, fairness and honesty is earned by each of us in our daily work, integrity continues to be our motto. Next, since we will be entrusted with the opportunity to provide vital public services. Our goal must be dedicated to meeting the expectations of those we serve. Since our company can best serve customers by taking the initiative to continually improve our operation; we take pride in our work, and accept responsibility for our actions. Alex and Nik have a huge task ahead to accomplish all of this in a country like Kava.
