Personal Change

SUMMARY

When I started writing this paper, I got stumbled in the beginning, questioned myself should I have to take this subject? Because collecting thoughts to scrap very details of my worst days, is really a heart-breaking work. I receded for an hour, took a walk along the lane and the past life, returned to continue my writing. I am no more the man, I have been, I have faced a lot of changes and learned to accept the changes, no longer by commemorating the events will sensitise me.

The paper is presented in lucid style of my spell through depression, how I managed to get rid of it, through support and motivation from others.

In this section, I will introduce the significance of my paper for exploring personal change in my life between the year 2004 and 2008.

Though I have experienced lot of challenges over the past ten years, demanding personal change, sometimes I yielded and sometimes I resisted. One such change, I have narrated here in this paper, that started in the middle of my under graduate degree.

I have identified and linked my personal change to three literature sources supporting and correlating to my experiences.

I am aged 24 and I was brought up in a middle class educated family in India. My father is an advocate by profession and my mother is a housewife. I am the youngest among my siblings.

I learnt quite remarkable lessons about the real meaning of life. Those days (2005-2007) were very hard and below I have narrated what I went through.
