I do not know exactly when it happened. Time just goes by so fast. It
feels like yesterday I was watching my little sister crawling all over the
house. She grew so quickly. I guess I was too busy with school and work
and hadn't realized that my sister wasn't a baby anymore. She turned
seven just a couple months ago and has changed so much since we
used to play together. She now wears make up, jewelry and does
everything a little girl does, but to me she will always be that baby I used
to carry on the beach so she wouldn't burn her tiny little feet. Samantha is
the baby of the house. Therefore, she gets everything she wants and has
become the spoiled little brat that we all love.
I decided to take Sammy to the mall on a hot, sunny day during last
summer. She would go into every store where she would see girly stuff like
little purses, make up, clothes, perfumes and so on, and tried to persuade
me to buy her theses things but had no success. As we were walking
around the mall, I noticed a lady that seemed to work in there staring at
my sister. When we got closer to her she approached us and asked my
sister "sweetie have you ever modeled before?". Sammy not knowing
what the lady was talking about looked at me with a puzzled face,
waiting for an explanation. I told the girl that she had never done
modeling or anything like that before. The girl replied that she would be
great and gave me a lot of information about it. Later on that day I called
the number the lady gave me and got an appointment for a picture
studio for the following week. My sister got very excited and was bragging
to all her friends about it.
The day finally came and I took my sister to the studio. They took
tons of pictures and Sammy told me she couldn't wait to see the pictures,
they handed me a card with the day I had to go to pick them up. After a
couple weeks, I found the card in one of my shirts' pockets and realized I
