As a representative for your institution, a project with the purpose of identifying ways that services can be delivered in a more efficient manner, you have suggested that the internet be made avilable to clinician at the point of care. You must develop a report listing the potential uses of the internet, as well as problems that might occur for this situation.

• The use of the Internet offers both benefits and challenges to healthcare organizations and administrators, physicians, and consumers. In this article, barriers and limitations to use of the Internet by each of these parties are addressed, and guidelines for its adoption by administrators are presented.

• The Internet is a tool that has the potential to greatly affect and improve the quality
