When you begin to do research there are several things you can do to form your paper, to start you have

choose a topic this can be accomplished brainstorming, you could look at and consider situations in your

own life, go over the various ideas you have with family, friends or classmates. Next you could review your

assignment to see what you can gather from it that would help you figure out a direction by focusing on key

words, such as how long should it be, do you need references, and what are the terms. It's hard to get started if you

don't know much about your topic. Do some general readings from various sources that are subject-specific

on the topic you choose, to get a brief overview.

There are several other ways to gather information the thing is knowing how to access this information

and to conduct an effective search, which would increase your chances of finding solid information on any topic

you are searching, this is also where the online libraries and the Cybrary (CTU Online 2008) work for me, it has

allowed me the time needed to conduct research with several avenues to choose from such as card catalogs,

computer databases, articles, books etc. and most of the info given is from credible sources or will point you in a

direction to obtain credible sources.

Using web search engines is another ways of doing research you could find information about a given

subject,
