Responsibility

        Personal Responsibility

In my honest opinion personal responsibility, means owning the responsibility for my actions, accepting any repercussions for my actions, and know that my actions will affect the people around me.

Bridging together a connection between personal responsibility and my college success is imperative. Getting an education is my personal responsibility. Continuing to be successful in college by studying hard and receiving passing grades is a great indication of my accomplishments. I must remain motivated during school and afterwards, which is being determine to focus on the prize; to continue succeed in college, graduation, advancement on my job, increase in income, and status.  

To have the freedom and the choices to succeed will help me with my personal responsibility of my college success here at the University of Phoenix. Before starting college, I checked to see how this would affect myself and my family because this could have an action major repercussions in many ways. It is my responsibility not to fail but if I do, it is my fault and my fault alone.

While receiving my education my personal responsibility plan: I will stay motivate, positive and focused on my education. I will complete all of my assignments in an appropriate time so, I will not fall behind and having points deducted from my work.  In order for me to receive the success I deserve; I will routinely sign in everyday to ensure my attendance and participation is counted. I frequently have a fear of failing, being a procrastinator, or being dropped from my classes but this is not a viable option.  

I have to keep my motivation going; given that college is an investment of my personal time. One of the things that will keep me motivated is uplifting words from those around me, my professors and classmates. Staying focused on completing my studies and assignments in the allotted time; will prevent me from failing. To ensure that I attain the success that I want in an appropriate timeframe, I need to login to class. Failure to login prevents me knowing if others are having the same issues as me, if the assignment has been change and I will miss part of my participation grade. In the end, I need to make sure I do my part to succeed.
