your three wide with 100m to the finish line it to of your best friends ( you are all very competitive and like to bet them as much as possible) you sprite for the tape, lunge at the line. Completely knackered, you look up at the teacher

“Well Steve at * school we don’t believe in putting ranks on our students efforts, we only want them to try their best, okay we don’t want the kids who aren’t the most skilled athletes to feel bad, so we make every one the same place. Winning doesn’t matter as long as you have fun try your best and play fair.
As I looked up at this teacher that I once had the up most respect for. I thought that this was some kind of p.c. bullshit that can only promote a country of mediocre, friendly, happy athletes
