Review for Bipolar
By: The "Brown Prince" himself
Now when I first heard that 180 was planning to do another album, my reaction
was like ehhh i don't know if he should do one. To my surprise and I am sure
I am speaking in everyone's behalf when i say Bipolar is a "BIG" improvement
from New Beginning. I was sure that 180's second album was going to be better
but not to this extent especially regarding clarity. 180 has surprised all of BPC and fans to the fullest.
1. Different Sides
Now this joint right here started off the whole thing. Listening to this track
made me doubt myself. The beat is OHHHH MAAA GODDDD the best intro beat in BPC history. Right away I noticed 180's improvement from good word play
("when heaven meets hell got me real motivated" thats right :)
and "but now its clear len and k took 2005" YOU KNOW YOU KNOW) to the main thing i was looking for "clarity". This track is pretty self explanatory, it gives an
idea of how the rest of the album will be.
2. 1.8.0
I can explain this song in one word "WOW" (not talking about world of warcraft).
This right here is clearly the hottest song on the album. I mean the lyrics are
incredible the beat is my one of my favorite beats but the best part about this song
is the hook. The hook alone could have been the song and I would have still been
bumpin to it. The hook is a classic probably in the top 5 of BPC history as far
as hooks go. In reference to some of the lyrics "and somesay that im the
motherfuckin future others say im not as good as i used ta" dawggg i don't know about
you bein the future but i can definitely say you're a lot better then you "used ta" be.
3. Still Standin
The single of the album which featured Deb and Troa. The beat was done very well
nice final fantasy mix, the hook is one of best parts of the song. The lyrics were
pretty decent, Troa's flow was amazing good job and Deb was completely off topic
haha you lost some points for that but still a decent song. "still standin till
death its easy to see that im still standin still gonna rep the bpc" thats
the truth right there.
4. Livin Through You
I personally like this idea a lot. I don't think this has been done before in BPC
history (i mean if it has let me know and no one else cuz i ain't tryin to sound
dumb). The beat is decent enough to work with. "K i feel like a leader since
i learned from u" that's right baby rep your King :) . This song basically focuses
on how 180 lives through people within BPC which entitles him to acquire all the
features of BPC put together and molding into 180 (but we all know thats me :) ).
"i dont think i would be social without yall" ain't that the truth, the "watcher".
5. On Lock
This is the club collabo which features Nib and K (myself:)
"with a collab with K, the hottness never ends" thats me son :) . This was 180's
first attempt to making a club beat and I believe it was a success. I love the idea
of how 180 and nib went back and forth and K killed that hook. Over all this song
was well done pretty good beat, decent lyrics, incredible hook(sexy voice), and
girls you gotta know "its not love
