School Parking Lot: A Parking Lot for Everyone
"Only the senior-year can ask the school administration for the permit to bring their car to the school parking lot." This rule was issued on 2006 in the regulation manual of our school.
This rule never existed in previous regulation manuals of the school. As a student and being a driver, there are various reasons for allowing most of the students in the school who possess a driver's license to park their car in the school parking lot. Most of the students' parents work and that makes it very difficult to pick up the students at the time they leave the school. Students do not have to bother their parents at work, because of their need to get to their home in emergencies; stay at school for after school activities or just leave at the end of classes.
Every student should be permitted to park their cars at the school parking lot, because many parents cannot pick up their kids at the time they leave school. Most high school students have assignments that need to be done in the school library or have after school activities like sports or club meetings. Some of the parents of these kids cannot pick them up and they must leave with a friend at the end of classes. That creates a problem to these students since they have to leave before these activities end. If the students want to participate of club meetings, they can stay and go after they finished the activities of the day.
Every student should be allowed to park their car at the school parking lot, because sometimes students feel sick, they do not want to interrupt their parents' working hours and sometimes they stay at school even though they want to go home. If the students want to go home
