Attitudes and Perceptions of Workers to Sexual Harassment is the title of my article. The scientist in this study were researching the perception of sexual harassment in two different work places, given respondents demographics, attitudes, perceptions, experiences, masculinity-femininity, and perceptions of organizations. They are addressing how employees perceive sexual harassment given two different work environments and policies regarding sexual harassment, one white-collar organization and one smaller blue-collar organization were the organizations of study.
They completed this study by having random volunteers in the workplace complete a survey and return it to boxes placed throughout the workplace, keeping the information anonymous for all employees participating. They used all parts of the scientific method, starting with defining the problem, reviewing other literature on this topic, collecting and analyzing data, and finally a conclusion. They also found a need for future study into this specific problem. They completed the science by compiling all of the data given to them and then analyzing and comparing it to each other using charts and tables.
