Shooting Hoops
It was a gorgeous morning, just enjoying shooting hoops with my brother. I had some kind of a bad situation on this day. I have chosen to tell the absolute truth on this day because it's the best decision and I wouldn't make the situation any worse. Telling the truth would make the conversation easier. If I told a lie, then that's when the suspicion occurs especially when I stutter my words and people wouldn't like it at all. No matter what the outcome is, I would still feel confident and tell them what had happened. It doesn't matter if I would stop playing basketball or if they're giving me another chance, but what comes up to my mind is the truth. If I am being grounded for what have happened, it's a lesson learned that I should be careful and figure out a way to avoid another problem. Also if people their birthdays to celebrate and they're in a great mood, I surely won't make them angry if I done something wrong. I would never want to spoil their events. I would also give them a full details of how it had happened so they could understand it better and have less questions to ask. I should never say a lie.
First of all before playing basketball with my brother, I had to practice shooting hoops. I was shooting from the free throw line a couple of times. When I confident that I could make it, I would step back further until up to the three point line. When I was in the three point area, I had a struggle of making it in. Sometimes the ball would spin around the rim then into my grandpa's window. It happened a couple times and I was bursting with laughter. Later on, my grandpa came out from his room and said, who kept hitting the window? I told him the truth that it was me. I explained to him that I was practicing and somehow the ball kept hitting the window, I didn't do it on purpose. He said, stop playing, the window might break. He wasn't angry the first time, he was calm and relaxed. Probably he knew that it was me because I was the one who's standing and my brother just sitting down in the corner watching me. After he told me that, my brother was chuckling and told me that he should've recorded it to show to his friends. I stopped practicing for a while till my grandpa goes to sleep or does something he had to do in the kitchen.
A couple of minutes later, I couldn't stop practicing, so I was on it again. I made a few three pointers from the front and on the right side. I wanted to try if I could shoot it from half court. On this situation, I couldn't see the court of where I was standing, but I knew where the direction I was going to shoot. This was my first try, when I pulled the trigger, the ball bounced from the back board and into the window. I told to myself, I thought it was going to go in perfectly but it was too much force. If I stepped back a little further then it would've made a swishing sound, shooting it without bouncing on the rims. When the ball hit the window, it was loud and at the same time it was hilarious. A minute later, my grandpa came out the second time and was furious at me. He said, didn't I tell you to stop playing basketball! I replied to him that it wasn't my fault, blame the ball. I was joking a little bit but he didn't seem to care. He was sort of yelling that he would give me a last chance and if I refused to obey his commands, it would be a surprise of what he would do. He went back in and slammed the door. I stopped practicing completely because I don't want to be surprised of anything. My guess is that he would either pop the ball or keep it somewhere where I can't look for it. I didn't have a chance to lay with my
