Succeeding in Your Organization
1. Introduction
The world has been made into a very small global village under globalization; a village with a very high stress of contentions and competitions between different organizations. So "succeeding in your organization" is becoming an extremely important issue to not only organizations but also individuals for being the winner in the competitions. However, almost organizations and individuals find it's not easy to be successful. The reasons are obvious but most organizations ignore such obvious issues so that they can't go to the top level. To be the winner, we must take sufficient knowledge of the elements to successful organization.
This report is about the subject of successful organization and how to succeeding in your organization. The purpose of it is to research the elements of successful organization and show how, what and why to do them for readers. All report is divided into three main parts : introduction, main text and conclusion. For the introduction part, it gives the purpose of report, brief introduction and the text structure. For the main text part , it is divided into two aspects :leadership and employment .And it shows several elements to be a successful organization and interpretations of them, examples also included. For the conclusion part, it gives a summary and reference.
2.1A Successful Organization Depends on Effective Leadership
We are forever to assess and obsess what it takes to ensure to be a successful organization. There are plenty of material discuss about it, much of this shoes that the individual will be successful after guarantee effectiveness. Some hard works must be needed to help the achievement of the win in that famous struggle. For a long time, the choice of being integrity, tolerance and discretion must be replaced by being a liar, a con man and a bastard. All in all, people who want be success must be realistic when he or she struggling at the bottom of organization.
The real role of successful organization leaders cannot just simply identify an association of position, rank, title and style. Position and title only can make organizations through which to lead, as that rank and style only can be used to complement and improve leadership. In addition, we don't believe that training scientifically and knowledge in combination are enough to cultivate a powerful and effective leader.
It makes people want to know, what is the critical leader's role which can ensure succeeding in the organization? Simply say, the critical role of leader's is to lead and act. Leaders have to do their jobs with some established job values. The best definition of leadership with a single word is action in my opinion which means what the leader takes to do and to say for finish the works. By the example of leaders' words and deeds, they can motivate others to act toward the common purpose of achieving the organization's goals. It seems very easy to do, but are words and deeds sufficient to ensure an effective leader and ensure a successful organization? The answer must be not, people who want to be successful leader must catch the essential elements of a successful organization. After read some kind of books, I think that tolerance, integrity and discretion are the first elements that can ensure a successful organization.
There are 4 important elements contribute to a successful leader and organization.
2.1.1Simplicity
A successful organization need to be as simple as possible, and only to full fill the required functions. Intricacy is not equal as profession. And what we do today? Although with our technology and the so called efficiency measures, management today is doing so many redundant works and making it harder and harder for people to do their deep-dyed jobs effectively. Complicate is not the sample of success. Some unnecessary steps waste too much time and money. If the organization cannot be called simplicity, either do the leader.
2.1.2Decisiveness
A successful organization must make decisions very firmly, quickly and clearly. It's very important for us to know that decision always made with risks and the ability to take acceptable levels of risks for anticipated situations is also required. It's important to make decision in time for the opportunities are not always waiting for us. We also need to find that much more times is not good for us to deal with incomplete information, conflicting opinions, limited resources, and short time fuses. Some people realize that indecision cannot be equal to flexibility; however, it may lead to palsy and uncontrollable
