To acquire any language other than L1 the model through which we learn our mother tongue is worth following. We listen many stories in our mother tongue and that is how to some extent we enrich our competence in L1. The same can be applied to acquire L2. Through stories we can help students to acquire L2 with interest; but there also we can add more elements like contextualization integration of various skills by making the story telling two way process.
