Technology in Graphic Design

(www.jokes.net) This is just a joke, but with that it is clear that nowadays technology is rapidly progressing and we are forgetting simple things. Is is good or bad? It depends on which way we would look at this... New technology has had a great impact on the field of Graphic Design because of printers and scanners, Internet and designing programs.
The development in printers and scanners made very big progress in Graphic Design. Before that everything was done by hand and, of course, that took a lot of effort and time. If you made a mistake, you had to do everything all over again. Also, for example, posters had to be painted with colors which wasn't easy and quick, nor inexpensive. Because of these reasons,the number of the production was limited. Designer's job only got easier when printers, and later on, scanners and computers were invented. Being able to print and to scan images on the computer made everything easier and quicker.
Graphic Design got more popular of Internet. Internet so far is the best form of communication and method of finding ideas for your projects. Through the Internet you could send your designs to somebody in couple seconds. That person after the quick look could respond with advice very easily. Also, there are so many images on Internet that can give you an idea and even some images use in your design. With all that access, designs have got better and better and more people are becoming interested in designing.
With computers came also designing programs like Iliustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Page Maker, which made all Graphic
