The Importance of the Work in Life
The importance of the work in life.
Good morning my dear fellows,
First, has anybody here ever had a job? Ok……….well, let's get to the point. Today my topic is work is very important in our lives.
Nowadays, there are a number of diverse jobs. In a small number of countries, such as Arab, there exist 20% of people who do not work everyday. However, in most of the countries, work is vital to them, for example China. As far as I am concerned, I strongly agree that people need to work in daily life for the following reasons.
I believe everybody knows the Maslow theory that we have learned before. Apparently, it can be divided into 5 levels which are physical needs, safety and security, love and belonging needs, self esteem, self actualization. To expand these 5 points, and to be more exact, a job can provide for the family, enrich the life, find a goal, and contribute to the whole society.
First of all, we can provide for the family through working. Based on the Maslow theory, physical needs is the first important thing to satisfy people through eating, dressing, and drinking. Once these needs are being satisfied, people will have the higher level desire. Therefore, how do they achieve the basic needs, of course, WORK! There exists the common sense that if you do not have money, you can rarely do things. You need jobs and hard work to buy necessities, and after that, you may buy luxury goods that you like. Other than that, when the festival comes, such as X-mas, one's birthday, you have to buy presents for your friends. All of these mean that you have to work and earn money.
Secondly, enriching one's life. There is such a number of people that their dreams are being housewives.
