Many people have different types of writing habits. Some correspond to there lifestyles and others are, just unique. I personally like to be around others and have music playing. While others need to be in a quiet place and by themselves.
Durinda Puckett believes that her junior high teacher was a main influence on her writing skills. Although she learned how to write earlier, Durinda says that the passion that she has for writing came from the passion that her junior high teacher had for teaching it. Durinda, doesn’t need much when she writes, she just has to have a dictionary. She prefers to write with pencil and paper. Its easier for her to see her mistakes and it doesn’t take that long when she writes, although writing any other way wouldn’t be as easy, she could still do it.
In a quiet place by herself, sometime during the evening is where you will Durinda writing. Most likely she will be there till the job is finish and ready to be read by others. Druinda says that’s she needs a quiet place and to be in the afternoon when she is calm and collective so that her thoughts will be able to “come to her”. Any other setting or time of day, her paper might not turn out as well.
Durindas’ type of writing corresponds too many things that she does during her daily life. In everything that she does she does it over and over again till it is perfect in her eyes. She also writes the same way she talks. Durinda couldn’t just leave her paper or anything else, unless it was finish.
