This Land Is My Land.

As graduation falls upon us,

We think about the past.

Were all the things we did worth doing?

Will our memories last?

We lose our tangled minds of youth,

To make us better still.

Sadly we must become adults,

No matter how strong our will.

Shed the thoughts of the weaker men,

We have so much left to learn.

The world is getting so much larger,

But our hearts still have that burn.

A part of us will remain here still,

Through all of our discontent.

All of us should be greatful,

for the many years we spent.

At first appearance

they seamed weak,

But lately we have found,

Our lives were not wasted here.

Our mind and bodies are sound.

We always thought that we knew all,

Never stopping to care.

The teachers that have shown us much,

And have always been there.

And as our memorys start to fade,

They won't fade into dust.

We will alwats remember our lives,

As always we must.

We were taught how to add,

And we were taught give.

We were taught all these things,

But most of all how to live.

At times we have fallen,

But we know how to rise.

If we all stay together,

The memory never dies.
